Hopkins Raspberry: Grande Day Parade
Parade starts at 1 pm, gather and line up at approximately 11:30 am. Details to follow on the Vista Star Facebook page.
This year, we'll showcase the Girl Scout emphasis on outdoor activities and community service. Feeling the vibe? Then bring a small wagon (garden cart or Flyer-style) decorated in an outdoor or community service theme. [HINT, HINT: What a great way to complete one of those badges or journeys that requires a public display of what was learned!] Poster board and markers will be provided that day if you want to make your wagon into an "every-girl-in-a-tent" or just make a sign to carry. Don't have a wagon? Banners and flags will be available for this fun, no-fuss event. Contact Laurie Anderson at LaurieP@thezor.com with any questions or if your troop wants to be the color guard. Look for a Sign Up Genius link to be posted soon on the Facebook page so that we can get an estimate of participation
If your girl has earned a Gold or Silver award and will be participating in the parade, please let us know! We want to recognize them with a special sash!.
